Account Manager : Ottawa

As Account Manager you will use innovative selling strategies to identify and qualify e-learning opportunities; establish and enhance strategic client relationships; achieve sales results, and maximize profit margins. You will do this via cold calling, telemarketing, direct referrals, and market research and planning. As a main point of contact for your assigned client base, you will ensure that clients fully understand, and appreciate the value and approach for our proposed solutions. You will help shape and evolve meaningful approaches and solutions that help our clients achieve business outcomes through e-learning. You will effectively manage sales cycles, promptly respond to client needs, actively participate in sales meetings, and track sales activities as required. You are ambitious with a real passion for solutions selling and understand the value of exceptional customer service. You have an appetite for success and are driven by your desire to achieve your goals.

As the ideal candidate you have:

  • 5+ years experience selling business solutions (versus products) to the oil & gas and construction industries
  • A working background with e-learning, sales, marketing, and/or corporate training and have a comprehensive, solution-orientated, highly methodical approach to sales
  • Strong relationship-building and account mapping skills, the ability to achieve targets, and understand the sales pipeline and sales cycles
  • Excellent webinar and presentation skills
