Programmer/Web Developer : St. John’s

Responsibilities

Work from an established code base
Develop new widgets and plugins
Deliver accurate work estimates
Take initiative and ownership

Qualifications

3+ years developing for the web
2+ years with PHP and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
Strong knowledge of XHTML, XML, JSON, CSS, AJAX and Javascript
Experience with the Zend PHP Framework and Object-Oriented programming
Experience developing rich web applications using Javascript Libraries (jQuery preferred)
Knowledge of SVN
Experience working and collaborating with a team of passionate developers and following coding standards/conventions
Strong communication skills

Definite Assets

Experience with eLearning, LMS and SCORM
Experience with Unit Testing
Experience with Doctrine
