In an organizational move that bucks the trend of talented Newfoundlanders moving to Alberta, Bluedrop announced today that it has opened a Calgary office to better serve its growing clientele in the oil and gas industry. Bluedrop, a recognized e-learning pioneer and true Canadian leader in this space will provide Account Management and Project Delivery functions out of this location. The office joins existing Bluedrop offices in St. John’s, Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto and Virginia.
“Expansion into Calgary is a natural extension for Bluedrop given the growing body of work that we are securing in the Oil and Gas industry,” says Emad Rizkalla, President and CEO of Bluedrop Performance Learning. “Calgary is where key decisions are made and any world class company interested in this industry needs to have a presence here. We are eager to demonstrate our innovation and the significant ROI realized from our e-learning solutions to Calgary firms.”
Bluedrop currently has several clients in the oil and gas, construction, energy and manufacturing sectors. While the training it develops is diverse and multi-faceted, Bluedrop believes the most demand for its services in Alberta will come from courses around compliance, health and safety, process and orientation, and software applications.
“I am pleased in particular to welcome John Moores as our Manager of Client Relations for the Calgary office. John has several years experience in complex solution sales for business clients and has a real passion for client satisfaction.”
