Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Bluedrop Performance Learning took the time this week to recognize an important milestone as Stephen Lenser, Bluedrop’s Chief Learning Officer, marked his ten year anniversary with the organization. Stephen has been an integral part of the Bluedrop team for the past ten years acting in various roles such as Instructional Designer, Project Manager, Consultant and Sales Support. “Over the past several years, Stephen’s commitment and creative thinking have led to numerous breakthroughs in the way we conduct business at Bluedrop. He has an in-depth understanding of what the client is looking for and can develop and implement solutions that exceed their expectations,” says Emad Rizkalla, President, Bluedrop Performance Learning. “From day one Stephen was overachieving and quickly became an integral part of our growing relationship with key multinational clients. He is a true professional who intuitively understands how performance learning is crucial to our clients’ success. Stephen’s vision and leadership have largely defined the direction of this company as it shifted from IT Consulting to e-learning.”

Stephen is responsible for overseeing the research, development and implementation of Bluedrop’s new products and services. He has the ultimate responsibility for all client projects and ensuring that high standards for quality and innovation are sustained. Mr. Lenser said, “Our industry is rapidly evolving with new technologies being used to enhance the overall learning experience for clients. Change has been a given in our industry and company over this time. But a few things have remained constant — our desire to create better products and create an excellent team. I believe we’ve assembled the best team we’ve ever had. The products that we are producing now are the best we’ve ever created.”

Prior to Bluedrop, Stephen worked with several multimedia companies, including Digg Design and Animatics, as a multimedia developer and consultant. Other engagements included a Research Officer position with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and numerous contract positions with some of Ottawa’s leading high-tech companies. Stephen has a degree in electrical engineering from Memorial University, and a Masters in Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.
