PEARSON EDUCATION SELECTS BLUEDROP PERFORMANCE LEARNING, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH RAISED PERFORMANCE MEDIA, TO DEVELOP ITS NEXT GENERATION OF NURSING PROGRAM SOLUTIONS

St. John’s, Newfoundland-Pearson Education’s Heath Sciences group selected Bluedrop Performance Learning, in partnership with Raised Performance Media, to develop its next generation of nursing program solutions. Raised and Bluedrop are long-time strategic partners and have combined their respective strengths to help Pearson’s Health Sciences group achieve their learning objectives for a Medical Assisting Simulations initiative.
Bluedrop and Raised are taking a huge step forward in creating a simulation environment that is educationally sound, visually impressive, functions seamlessly, and emerges the student into a realistic world. The simulation will test the student in a nonlinear series of events and provide an interactive storyline taking the student through the day’s worth of stresses and difficulties to assess the student’s ability to engage in a real work-day scenario, how to deal with urgent situations and how they understand the protocols and responsibilities related to the learning objectives. The simulation environment will become part of a much bigger experience that will allow for easier learning and improved testing of decision-making and reactions within an environment.
